Reflection from a 2020 8th Grade Graduate

The Circle School has brought me so much joy in the short amount of time I’ve spent here.  These past two years have been filled with people who have impacted my life and filled it with amazing memories.  Ms. Sarah has helped me grow exponentially in math and even got me to go to a math competition, which is something I never thought I would be doing. Speaking of things I never thought I'd do, she inspired me to present in front of some to NASA’s smartest minds at the Future City competition which was an “out of this world” experience.  Ms. Terry has opened my eyes to the wonderful world of writing.  She taught me I could write about anything, from my major crush on Tom Holland to what it would be like to be a building. Thanks to Ms. Terry, I’ve grown to love learning about our past. One of my favorite parts of the Circle School is being able to hang out with not only kids my age, but also kids from the Moon Room on up. They have the craziest stories and I am the lucky one that gets to hear them all.  I feel prepared transitioning to high school.  Everyone has taught me so much. I may even start each of my mornings with the peace song to feel connected to the Circle School family next year.  I am going to miss all the students and teachers including specials and after school, especially Mr. Jerry’s hugs. They have taught me so many life lessons.  Words cannot express how grateful I am to have had the Circle School in my life.
