WHAT TO BRING:
Send your child in cool, comfortable clothing and shoes. Camp can be messy, so be aware that your child’s clothing may become permanently stained.
Your child will have a cubby to store their belongings. Label all of your child’s personal items.
All children are required to have LABELED water bottles for use throughout the day that will be stored in their cubby.
You are welcome to send sunscreen and insect repellant; the school does have these items, but many families prefer to provide their own. Label these items.
Leave children’s personal toys and belongings at home or in the car. The school is not responsible for the loss of any personal items, and we ask that you don’t allow your child to bring any.
Make sure that your child’s belongings are taken home each day.
Look for daily notices and/or changes posted on the marker board to the left of the front door.
FOOD & DRINKS
LUNCH: Provide a lunch with a cold pack (refrigeration is not available) if your child is enrolled in both morning and afternoon sessions. Please send the necessary utensils and LABEL your child’s lunch containers.
SNACK: If your child is on campus in the morning, provide a morning snack.
If your child will be utilizing our after care program, provide an afternoon snack.
WATER: All children should have a labeled, reusable water bottle to keep with them throughout the day.
As of March 2022, we will continue to mask indoors. Students may unmask outdoors. In mid-May we will send an email to all summer participants with updates. Children will receive consistent guidance in developing handwashing and appropriate social distancing skills while also being supported in their social-emotional and cognitive development during this time.
Access to campus is limited to enrolled campers and staff. Drop off and pick up is completed on our front porch.
These are offered every morning and every afternoon at $45 a week. You must register for a SESSION in order to enroll in a FUN CAMP; thus, you can ONLY enroll in ONE fun camp a week. They offer an affordable option for families that need all day care.

Creating a Safe Environment
As elders we model behavior that is neither demeaning nor discriminatory. Our goal is to foster healthy attitudes for each child and safety for the community of children as a whole. In the classroom and on the playground, we enforce common safety rules and practice redirection of violent play behavior. Respectful and gentle behavior is encouraged through positive reinforcement with separation (time out) if necessary. Please feel free to contact a teacher if you have questions. Repeated aggressive or disruptive behaviors by a child will not be tolerated. The school reserves the right to expel a student under these severe conditions. The safety and integrity of the learning environment will be the primary concern.
Students have the right not to be discriminated against by The Circle School for reasons of age, creed, ethnic or national origin, gender, disability, political or social affiliation, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
