The Circle School middle school program is tailored and individualized for each student to promote high levels of academic comprehension and achievement, with an emphasis on service learning and development as empowered citizens. Students aged 9 to 14 work in a cooperative and collaborative environment and are prepared thoroughly for advanced coursework in high school. Higher level math such as high school algebra and beyond are included in the curriculum. In lieu of traditional grades, students' progress is documented and charted through beginning, middle, and end of year parent-teacher goal-setting conferences. Special classes in physical fitness, art, music, and foreign language are built into the schedule weekly and enhance the practical curriculum.
Graduates of the middle school program go on to have academic success at schools such as Keystone, North East School of Arts, and Incarnate Word to name a few.
