Pre-enrollment Visits

Prospective parents are encouraged to attend one of our fall and spring Information Sessions. You will have an opportunity to learn more about our school, take a tour, meet teachers and the Administrator as well as families from our school. If you are unable to make it to an Information Session, school tours are scheduled throughout the year. Contact school administrator Blanca Luna to schedule your visit at

Room Parents

Each class has a room parent who coordinates class celebrations, teacher and classroom support, and finding chaperones for field trips.

Co-op Meetings

General co-op meetings are scheduled throughout the year. These meetings are held to conduct official school business, such as voting on the annual budget. They are also a great way to learn about what is going on in our community and to meet fellow families while being directly involved in decisions that affect the school. Two standard meetings are New Family Orientation and our Back to School event and there are two mandatory Co-op meetings - one on the fall and one in the spring.

Co-op Jobs and Committees

We are a diverse community of families working towards a common goal: to ensure that our children are learning and playing in the best environment we can provide. Every family brings something unique to the community and as members of the Co-op, families can utilize their own personal skills to better the school as a whole. Donated hours are an integral function of the school and demonstrates to our children how people working together can make great things happen. Members have the option of paying monthly co-op fees, completing co-op hours, or a combination of both.  Families can earn hours by having a co-op job and serving on committees. Co-op jobs include: Field Trip Coordinator, School Cleaners, Kitchen Organizer, Event Photographers, and Office Assistants. Another great way to get involved in the Co-op is through our standing committees such as: Strategic Planning Committee, Marketing Committee, and Yearbook Committee as well as mandatory committees including CircleFest and International Food Festival.

Board of Directors

The Circle School is governed by a parent volunteer Board of Directors including President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Education Director, Enrollment Director and New Family Liaison, Co-op Coordinator, Communications Director, Director of Development, Director of Fundraising Events and two Buildings and Grounds Directors. The Board of Directors determines an annual operating budget, fees and tuition, is in charge of fundraising events, oversees school operations, maintenance and upkeep and oversees all personnel.
