What is the average class size?
Our Pre-K 3 class caps at 9 students, all other classes cap at 12 students.
What is the goal of the admissions process?
At The Circle School, we want to make sure that your child is given the biggest opportunity to succeed and develop. We conduct our family and teacher interviews in order to find the best fit for each child and their family.
When is the application deadline?
We are currently accepting applications for the 2020-2021 academic year. Waitlist applications will be reviewed in June/July and families will be contacted to fill open roster spaces by August 2020.
We accept applications year-round as well as offer an open-door policy for families and potential students to come visit. After commitments are received from current and returning families, admissions interviews for waitlist families are made beginning in mid- February and into March. Additional applications will be accepted after this timeframe as space allows. Please contact us for availability.
How diverse is The Circle School?
Our families come from a range of ethnicities, socioeconomic backgrounds, and family composition.
What is Circle School's religious affiliation?
The Circle School is not affiliated with any religious organization or church. Many religions are represented among our community, and we consider ourselves to be a welcoming place for all religious backgrounds.
Is financial aid available?
At this time The Circle School offers financial aid to select returning families only. Once a full year has been completed at the school, a family may be considered for financial aid. The process includes evaluation of co-op participation as well as the family’s circumstances.
What are the school hours?
The school day runs from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm for all classes. The school opens at 7:30 and after school care is available until 6 pm for an additional charge.
What schools do students attend after The Circle School?
Circle School alumni have been successful in many different schools, no matter when they leave the program. Our alumni can be found at Keystone, Incarnate Word High School, International School of the Americas, North East School of the Arts, as well as at various public and charter schools throughout the city.
What special classes are offered?
Current classes include Yoga/P.E., Art, Music and Gardening. We are always looking for new opportunities and explore new options and additions as they become available. Please see our Specials section for more details.
